Since before they had a physical location, I’ve been drinking Happy Gut’s fermented teas.
There is, quite literally, nothing like it (just ask Kombucha Brewers International). While their original Park Ave location was somewhat limited by its size, their current home accommodates their various loves: tea (fermented and fresh) coffee, plants, and food from their roots.

To be providing coffee for their beautiful sanctuary is honor enough, but Catt and Rob always make working with them truly collaborative. To date, they’ve fermented five Aporia single origin coffees in their Nanda Devi line, including my personal favorite decaf ferment. They also took a drink I designed in my time at Fifth Frame Brewing and put it on their menu AND let me name it! I know I can get honest feedback about new coffees just by dropping samples at Happy Gut, and I’ve had wonderful opportunities to use their space to not only brew and sell coffee, but offer educational opportunities, as well.

Catt and Rob have created one of the most unique, most welcoming spaces in Rochester. Go until you’ve had everything on the menu and then keep going because they’re only going to come up with more ways to make us happy.
